The ancient Greeks played. So did the Romans. Archaeologists believe it derived from the game of Senet, an ancient Egyptian game found in King Tut's tomb.

This deluxe Mahogany Backgammon Set is absolutely gorgeous with a Green and Natural inlay. The 19" board conveniently folds closed when not in play. Includes chips, dice and cups. Backgammon is an excellent way to enjoy a night at home with your family and friends!

Dimensions:

19" x 10" x 3"

Mahogany has a generally straight grain and is usually free of voids and pockets. It has a reddish brown color which darkens over time, and displays a beautiful reddish sheen when polished. These properties make it an excellent wood for construction of chess boards.
