Shipping and Returns
Use our secure, online ordering system. We use the highest level (128-bits secure encryption) Internet SSL Security. You can feel safe shopping at yourchessgame.com.
Applicable sales tax of 8.9% will be applied to orders shipped within Washington state. Final order amount including shipping will be communicated following receipt of your order.
Terms of Sale
1. All prices are subject to change without notice.
2. All prices are listed in US Dollars.
3. All forms of payment are payable in US Dollars.
4. Inventory is subject to availability.
5. Please inspect all shipments promptly and make any damage claims to Chess Game.
6. Claims for shortages or errors must be made in writing within 10 days from receipt of merchandise, along with a copy of the invoice. Do not return anything without pre-authorization.
7. All returns must have prior approval from The Manufacturer before shipping back and are subject to the following conditions:
• All returned goods must be sent back pre-paid of all transportation charges.
• If the customer is dissatisfied with an item, it can be returned within 30 days for a full refund of purchase price, exclusive of shipping and handling charges.
• Returned items must be in brand new, saleable condition; otherwise, a 50% restocking charge may apply.
• If an item has a manufacturer’s defect, we will replace or refund it at no charge.
• In the case of missing or duplicate chess pieces, we will supply needed pieces at no charge.
• If returns are damaged by the customer, there may be no refund.
• If an item is damaged in shipping, we will put in a UPS claim and ask that the customer assist us in keeping the box, packaging materials, etc. Once the claim is filed, we will replace the item or grant you a refund.
8. Some chess pieces can be replaced as needed over time for a nominal charge. The charge per piece depends on the set, and the customer pays for shipping.
9. Chess Game is not responsible for packages that were delivered to a residence, but were lost or stolen.
10. We do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Some items can be shipped Internationally or to APOs. Please contact Chess Game for more information.
11. All shipments are sent by UPS.
12. We do not normally ship partial orders unless there are special circumstances deeming it necessary. If this is the case, we will notify the customer.
13. Orders that are being processed or shipped cannot be cancelled or revised.
14. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Such products are generally shipped within three business days. We will notify the customer when the product has been shipped. |
